WEST HARTFORD- Playhouse on Park is honored to continue the memory of The Diary of Anne Frank, based upon “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl” by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hacke, adapted by Wendy Kesselman. Come witness this unforgettable moment in history. Opening Night is Friday, October 25th at 8pm, with a complimentary wine and cheese reception from 7pm to 8pm.

This well-known story comes to the stage in an adaptation featuring new content from unpublished pages and survivor interviews. Anne Frank’s narrative is heart-wrenching and insightful as audiences experience the pain and fear of families hiding from Nazi persecution. However, Anne’s relentless faith in the good nature of humanity reminds us of the power of hope despite incredible hardship.

The Diary of Anne Frank runs through November 19th, with previews October 23th and 24th. Preview seats are $17.50. This show offers a specially priced matinee on Tuesday, November 7th at 2pm. All seats for this performance are only $22.50 per person, reserved seating. There is also a talk back with the cast after Sunday matinees.
