WEST HARTFORD- Playhouse on Park is thrilled to bring The Revisionist, an off-Broadway hit by Jesse Eisenberg, star of the Social Network, to our stage. Opening night is Friday, April 13th at 8 pm, with a complimentary wine and cheese reception from 7 pm to 8pm.

Inspired by his own relationships, The Revisionist explores the relationships between family when David travels to Poland to stay with his 75-year-old second cousin Maria. David is searching for a space to beat writer’s block while Maria works to connect with her family. However, family bonds are tested when David discovers the secrets of Maria’s past. "'The Revisionist' is about a Polish survivor of the Holocaust, who holds a guilty secret close to her chest and a naive young American writer who can't see the secret for the woman." - New York Times

The Revisionist runs through April 29th, with previews April 111h and 12th. Preview seats are $17.50. This show offers a specifically priced matinee on Tuesday, April 24th at 2pm. All seats for this performance are only $22.50 per person, reserved seating. There is also a talk back with the cast on Sunday matinees.
