WEST HARTFORD- It won’t be long until you are up and dancing with Playhouse on Park’s In The Heights by Lin-Manuel Miranda (writer/star of Hamilton) and Quiara Alegria Hudes. This fast paced, high stakes musical is a party for all ages. Opening night is Friday, June 15th at 8pm with a complimentary wine and cheese reception from 7pm to 8pm.

This hit Broadway show brings the lively neighborhood of Washington Heights to the stage to tell an all-American immigrant story. The community struggles to thrive as each character must navigate through traditions and expectations to decide their future. This universal story of change and growing-up is brought alive through Tony Award winning music and dance.

In the Heights runs through July 29th, with previews June 11th and 12th. Preview seats are $17.50. This show offers a specially priced matinee on Tuesday, July 26th at 2pm. All seats for this performance are only $22.50 per person, reserved seating. There is also a talk back with the cast after Sunday matinees.
