Town Reports:
Town Manager - Rick Ledwith
Engineering team not in attendance today; rescheduled for June meeting.
Red Light Camera program making progress. Public Outreach meeting held in April. Eight primary and eight backup locations have been identified. Town Council will review on June 23. Also requires State and Federal approval.
All revenue from Red Light / Speed Cameras are pushed back into public works projects focused on Project Zero initiative.
Memorial Day Parade at 10am, Ceremony at 11:15am. Celebrate West Hartford June 6-7. West Hartford Pride June 27. Jubilee Juneteenth event every Thursday in June.

275 Park shipping container and food truck being stored, zoning enforcement is involved.
Crosswalk at Troy will be addressed by Engineering
75 Park former Webster Bank has a new tenant. 1000 Sunny Cards & Collectables.
14 Oakwood – Iron Horse – still working on building permits.
Burger Squad finally open.
138 Park – Spitz – Paige and Nick – will be open in the next few weeks.
Babe’s hookah lounge submitted a request to open a barber shop. Applications are in with items pending.
Police Department – Sgt Hopkins
Community Relations attending career fairs; College Academy full to capacity; various safety presentations at schools and organizations around the city; SROs from High Schools will be reallocated to bike patrol in the Center and parks and trails.
Chamber of Commerce – Chris Conway
Signing Day event for graduating seniors who will be joining Trades, included a career fair component.
Health & Wellness Fair in Blue Back had a great turnout with 48 organizations.

June 5 Chamber 101 quarterly course at Town Hall
Annual Meeting on June 22 at Town Hall, reformatted event – heavy hors’d featuring several restaurant members.
501c3 non-profit arm of the Chamber has been established to support the community.
Playhouse on Park
Campaign to purchase the building: need Town approval for change of use with upstairs space; need to raise the money.
Park Road Committees
Beautification – Donna – Knox Foundation planter program is running - $299 each, maintenance included, and up to two replacements if needed. Spring clean up walk was a success.
Events – Hillary – Oct 3 event in lieu of parade, Fall for Park. Sidewalk festival. 10-3 or 10-4. Road open, trolley, performances, events, sidewalk sale. Starting quarterly Park After Dark events. June 3, 6-8pm at Smoke Public House. Live music and happy hour specials, will also have a short meeting component for neighbors unable to make morning meetings.
